On 5-19-25 @ 0700, I was at the AUTOBARN Volkswagen of Countryside for a minor recall issue (rear cameras). The service technician explained what services were being performed, I got myself a cup of hot coffee and there was a loaner vehicle waiting for me. Carlos kept in contact with me via text messages and within a couple of hours, my VW was ready for pickup. While enjoying the ALL NEW 2025 loaner VW, I wish the recall had taken longer. However, the efficiency of the service technicians is remarkable as I always have the best experience at VW in Countryside. Volkswagen wants each customer to have that "first new car" feeling every time behind the wheel or as a passenger in a VW. Whether you are going two blocks away or over the mountains 🏔️ and through the woods to grandma's house, drive a VOLKSWAGEN AND "MAKE THE JOURNEY MATTER."

Took car in on 5/30/25 because engine light and other warning lights were amber. Thought it was a bad seal on gascap but it ended up being the thermo control valve assembly, which was under warranty, saving me almost $1000! Got new wipers front & rear and I was a happy camper! MUSA ATIQ fixed me up with a 2025 Forester as a loaner, and the whole experience was first class, which I have come to expect from the Subaru Autobarn of Countryside!
Today I took our 2020 Forester in for its 48,000mile check-up (actual mileage, 49,200). Oil changed/filter, tires rotated, brakes, wipers, ‘you name it’ all inspected for roughly $90. Will watch rear brakes, still fine, but worn a bit. Work was done quickly/efficiently as I waited. Musa, my service contact, was informative. Coffee was okay, all good.

I won’t schedule a service at any other VW dealership. I brought my Golf in for some shaking at high speeds and they found the issue within forty minutes and didn’t even charge me an arm and a leg for having to do some diagnostics. I wasn’t a fan that they unplugged my dash cam before taking it for a test drive to see how it shook, but otherwise my experience was and always has been exquisite.
