As your Volkswagen lease end approaches, you may be wondering about your options. Do you plan to keep the Volkswagen you have come to love over the past few years, or is it time for something new? At our lease return center near Chicago, we can help you decide what is best for you at lease end.
Volkswagen Lease End Options
At the end of your Volkswagen lease, you have the ability to purchase the vehicle you have been leasing or swap it for something new with all of the latest bells and whistles. If you are interested in purchasing the vehicle, contact the team at The Autobarn Volkswagen of Countryside, and we can assist you in making that arrangement.
If you would prefer to get behind the wheel of a new Volkswagen vehicle at lease end, you will need to follow the Volkswagen lease return process, including having the vehicle inspected.
Volkswagen Lease Return Inspection
To get your vehicle ready for inspection, it is a good idea to follow the checklist below:
- Clean the interior and exterior of your vehicle.
- Collect your keys, owner’s manual/maintenance booklet, headrests, and cargo covers (if applicable).
- Please contact one of our Sales Managers for more information and to schedule a lease return appointment by calling 708-354-6600 Monday through Friday 9am – 8pm and Saturday 9am – 6pm.
After your vehicle has been inspected and any necessary repairs have been performed, you will turn in the vehicle and receive a copy of your Vehicle Turn-In Form for your records. Once the vehicle is back at the dealership, you will need to notify Volkswagen online. To do this, log in to vwcredit.com/myaccount to complete the vehicle return form; you can also call (800) 521-0171. Within a few weeks, you will receive a final Turn-In Settlement Invoice from VW.
Volkswagen Credit Inc. will cover up to two remaining monthly payments of any Volkswagen model when you lease or finance any new Volkswagen through VCI.
Together with VWoA, Volkswagen Credit presents a Volkswagen Lease Pull Ahead for qualified lessees maturing between April 02, 2021 – October 31, 2021. Volkswagen Credit will cover up to two remaining monthly payments for eligible customers when the customer finances or leases any new Volkswagen through Volkswagen Credit. Must take delivery by May 3, 2021.
