The Volkswagen Car-Net App-Connect system connects your car and smartphone, allowing you to control apps, send texts, and make phone calls. It’s available in most new Volkswagen models including as part of the Volkswagen Tiguan technology features. Discover VW App-Connect

The App-Connect system is part of the VW Car-Net infotainment package, and it uses the following systems to connect your smartphone to the vehicle:

  • Android Auto
  • Apple CarPlay
  • MirrorLink

When linked via the USB data port or a Bluetooth connection, App-Connect gies you access to the following features:

  • Music
  • Navigation
  • Messaging
  • Select Apps
  • Phone
